Likes to cook and once considered culinary school before God decided that he would be better at feeding souls than stomachs; loves to sing (no one recognizes this as a public talent so he has settled for karaoke).

Brushes With History

Has attended a Duke basketball game in the student section; part of the raucous crowd that celebrated the 1995 UCLA basketball championship in Westwood; had to visit a relative in the middle of the L.A. riots to see if she was doing okay.

Adventures

Once spent a night in the streets of Paris and slept in a park because there was no way to get out of the city; the next morning, saw the sun rise and the moon set at the same time next to the Eiffel Tower; visited an outdoor Olympic-sized spa in Germany and the temperature was near zero.
